Editorial Standards
How we research, source and verify everything we publish.
Who writes mumdadtoddlers.co.uk
We're a UK family sharing our own parenting journey — from trying to conceive through pregnancy and birth. We write from real, first-hand experience.
We are not doctors, midwives or medical professionals. Nothing on this site is intended to replace advice from someone who is.
How we research and source
Every health-related point we make is backed by a reputable source. We rely on the NHS, NICE, and peer-reviewed research, and we link to those primary sources directly within each article — and again in the Sources list at the end of every post.
Every citation is verified
Before an article is published, every citation in it is checked and independently re-verified for accuracy. If we can't stand a claim up against a reputable source, it doesn't go in.
This is the standard we hold ourselves to on every single article — because when it comes to pregnancy and health, getting it right matters more than getting it out.
Corrections
We want to get it right. If you spot something you believe is inaccurate or out of date, please let us know and we'll review it.
